Getting the Love You Want, Weekend Retreats

During our Imago couples weekend retreats couples will reconnect with each other through education, interactive exercises, and reflections that will transform the way each views their partner. Couples learn new ways to communicate by practicing the Imago Intentional Dialogue. The workshop is rich in content and relational learning, and couples have opportunities to practice with the educators’ support or privately. This retreat is both experiential and educational. Many couples report that the retreat is equal to six months of traditional relationship therapy. It’s a great option for premarital counseling or for couples in need of marriage counseling to repair ruptures or dive deeper into an already rich connection.

Upcoming Workshops

“I cannot tell you how this weekend changed me, changed us. We were discussing divorce. I feel so close to my husband, and we have hope again.”

“We were not sure about spending an entire weekend on our marriage. Now that I think about that mindset, I am wondering how we ever made it through the challenging times. Now we have a way to talk about the hard things. We learned that we still have a lot to learn about each other.”

“Colleen and Kevin made it real. They taught us about normal conflict and how to repair our relationship after we have a rupture. I know how to talk about things now. I used to completely shut down for days.”

“Learning about my partner’s needs and past pain has made it easier to be patient and try to help my partner heal.”

“We have a good marriage. This workshop has only deepened our connection. I wish we took this class years ago. I want to give the workshop to my children as a wedding gift.”

“Colleen and Kevin are such good teachers. They made this easy for us. We are newlyweds and want to protect our relationship. We both come from divorced families. As kids of divorce, we do not want our kids to suffer through that.”
